Exemplary Programs
Brader was named a Recognition School by the Delaware Department of Education. Our school was recognized for our exceptional performance and outstanding work in closing achievement gaps among our regular education and special education subgroups on DCAS. Brader received $50,000. A committee was formed consisting of administration, teachers, support staff and parent representation to determine how the award would be used. Several classrooms were outfitted with SMART boards and/or SMART visual presenters in order to align with the school’s mission and School Success Plan of increasing student engagement. In addition, the Delaware Positive Behavior Support Project announced Brader's Phase 2 school-wide PBS Recognition for the 2014-2015 School Year. Brader's instructional program is directly linked to our School Success Plan (SSP), which focuses on student achievement for all students. Our daily educational program provides students with rigorous instruction based on the CCSS.
