Conrad is a life science magnet school that promotes pride and ownership of education in an academically challenging learning community. This begins with an accelerated middle school program that prepares students to become diligent scholars of the bio-science pathways in the upper grades, all while maintaining a traditional secondary school experience. Conrad creates an inclusive environment centered on fostering independent critical thinkers and inquiry-based problem solvers who meet their academic potential through a rigorous curriculum of project-oriented programs and real world experiences infused with technology. Industry partners enhance career-readiness through job shadowing, mentoring, and a senior capstone experiences. Conrad offers more than 40 clubs and activities- both traditional and science-based- and a full complement of interscholastic athletic teams.

Curriculum Highlights
The A/B Block schedule with four 90 minute periods maximizes learning. Middle school ELA and Math are scheduled daily, doubling instruction and allowing students to complete Algebra I and Geometry in middle school. The middle grades offer a challenging preparation for the high school program with unique opportunities in Forensics, Emergency Response Skills, Anatomy, Animal Science, etc. The high school offers a rigorous Biotechnology and Allied Health curriculum at the center of a traditional high school experience. 3-year pathways are offered in Biotechnology Research, Biomedical Science, Veterinary Science, Nurse Tech, Physical Therapy/Athletic Healthcare, and Computer Science. 18 AP courses, 6 Dual-Enrollment College courses, and unique science electives ensure students are college-ready.
