Exemplary Programs
Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center is focused on providing an experience for kindergarten that is dedicated to the whole child. We believe in nurturing children while providing an academic experience centered on the Common Core State Standards. Because Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center is only for kindergarteners we are able to provide students and families with an environment 100% dedicated to preparing students for elementary school while providing a safe, age appropriate experience. Students will leave Cedar Lane Early Childhood prepared for elementary school both academically and socially.

Curriculum Highlights
At Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center, we look to help student grow not only academically, but also social and emotionally. Our full day kindergarten program is aligned with the Common Core State Standards. Students participate daily in small group instruction focused on the student's needs, math exploration, writing, shared and guided reading, hands-on Science, Social Studies, learning stations, lunch, and recess. Students also participate weekly in related arts such as Guidance, Music, Art, and Physical Education.
