Curriculum Highlights
Blades Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through second grade. Blades Elementary takes great pride in its rigorous academic curriculum. For reading, our teachers follow the Bookworms curriculum, and students read text both at and above their grade level, as well as receive instruction on their reading level. For math, the students and teachers participate in classroom Number Talks, where students increase their number sense. Students in each grade level have the opportunity to participate in our Spanish immersion program, where they are taught the core curriculum in Spanish. The teachers at Blades Elementary School work hard to meet the needs of all our students through both enrichment and intervention programs. The students and staff at Blades Elementary School are working hard to ensure that we are "a school to tweet about."
