At Laurel High School our Vision is to Prepare All Students for Success in the 21st Century (PASS 21). Our Instructional Mission is to prepare students for success by providing RIGOROUS and challenging instruction, giving purpose and RELEVANCE to students' learning through authentic experiences, and by building a strong community of students, teachers, and administrators focused on trust and RELATIONSHIPS that will foster a lifelong love of learning. Laurel High School is committed to providing our students with programs to supplement the core academic curriculum and general requirements for graduation. Students at Laurel High School may choose Advanced Placement classes, Honors classes, and Dual Enrollment classes that include the Early College Academy. Students may begin our honors and dual enrollment programs in the ninth grade and challenge themselves by taking the most rigorous courses Laurel High School has to offer.

Curriculum Highlights
Laurel High School has expanded the Career and Technical programs of study to include; Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, Biomedical STEM, Academy of Finance, Horticulture and Plant Science, and K-12 Teacher Academy. This is in addition to our existing pathways in Visual and Performing Arts, and Math and Science. Laurel High School is also in a partnership with Wilmington University to offer an Early College Academy to students where they can earn up to 28 college credits during their four years of High School. Laurel is the only High School in Sussex County to offer this program.
