Exemplary Programs
Selbyville Middle School has been recognized by the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce for the "Meet the Challenge" program and also by Lt. Governor Carney as a Model of Excellence School. The school continues to strive for excellence and has been a superior school the last two years.

Curriculum Highlights
Selbyville Middle School offers a variety of programs and extra-curricular activities for students. These programs include a before school program, Read180/Pre-Teach Math, and a DSTP prep and also a vocabulary building program daily. Students have opportunities to excel in Advance Challenge Program for talented 8th grade students to receive additional instruction in math and English at Del Tech. Sixth grade students have the EXCEL program and honors placements are available to all students meeting district criteria.
