Exemplary Programs
Selbyville Middle School students have access to a STEM program as well as a Robotics and Technology Club that participates in National and World competition. Selbyville Middle School Math students also routinely compete at the state level during Math League Competitions. Additionally, Selbyville Middle School students have expressed themselves artistically by joining forces with a local community organization to paint an anti-bullying mural.

Selbyville Middle School also incorporates an expanded Business program to emphasize computer literacy and to prepare our students with 21st century skills. 6th grade students gain proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Word while our 7th grade students gain proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and personal finance. Our 8th grade students work extensively with Chromebooks, Schoology, and the Blended Learning model.

Curriculum Highlights
Selbyville Middle School offers a variety of programs and extra-curricular activities for students. These programs include Response to intervention, Read 180/Math 180, and a school wide Building Academic Vocabulary program. Students have the ability to enroll in Honors courses and may participate in the Academic Challenge program at Del Tech.
