Curriculum Highlights
At Long Neck Elementary School we strive daily for academic excellence through a variety of programs. We have a comprehensive Math curriculum that spirals throughout the grade levels and focuses on key concepts and real-world problem solving methods. We utilize Response to Intervention (RTI) from Pre K to Grade 5. RTI allows for small group instruction to assist all children at their instructional level from the neediest to those just waiting to soar. Further, all of our teachers use Learning Focused Strategies as the foundation of their instruction. All of our instruction is cross curricular and student centered.
