Exemplary Programs
Positive Behavior Support:
At Lake Forest East Elementary School students who have been consistently Respectful, Responsible and Safe are recognized each semester and celebrate in our schoolwide Positive Behavior Support semester celebrations.

After School Tutoring Program:
East Elementary has an extensive after-school tutoring program to service students who need additional help with reading and math in grades 2 and 3.

Accelerated Reader:
This reading program is utilized school wide. Students choose any book within their individual instructional reading level and then test on that book. Students are given goals each semester on how many books to read and how many tests to take. Their goals are individualized and aligned with their instructional reading level. Celebrations are held each semester for students that reach their goal.
