Exemplary Programs
A strong academic program is the cornerstone of the educational experience at Caesar Rodney High School. Regardless of grade level or class, the purpose of all coursework at CRHS is to challenge students with a rigorous, cutting-edge, 21st century curriculum. Moreover, the curriculum work at CRHS ensures that each pupil is college and career ready when they leave Rider Country. Caesar Rodney High School has also been recognized by College Board with the Advanced Placement Honor Roll for increases in access to AP courses for a broader number of students and also maintaining/improving the rate at which students earn scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. The students in Fine Arts and Career Technical Education programs have also garnered state and national recognition for their outstanding work. Furthermore, CRHS has won the “Henlopen Conference Founders Cup” 20 times, which is an All Sports trophy that recognizes the comprehensive success of all athletic teams.

Curriculum Highlights
The School District has established a curriculum development process which supports alignment to the Delaware State Standards.The preparation of our students as life-long learners in a global community of the 21st century society is the unifying objective of this process. The curriculum not only identifies essential knowledge and skills, but also supports students’ development in problem solving and gathering and using resources that will enable them to succeed. Each content area also has an Assessment of Learning and Assessment for Learning component to support students in the learning process and to determine specific performance relative to the State Standards.
