Exemplary Programs
William Penn High School is a unique traditional high school. Committed to "rethinking" high school education, all students enroll in one of our 20 degree programs, all under three college academies: STEM, Business, and Humanities. Student scheduled are individually selected to support their program of study. Through a variety of rigorous and hands-on opportunities, William Penn students become highly competitive for college acceptance and scholarships, and most importantly, are career ready. We are the largest high school in New Castle County, and offer the programs that support learning for ALL students - from SWD, to ELL, to Advanced Placement. We also encourage all students to participate in the "whole high school experience" by joining our exemplar athletic program and/or join one of our many after-school clubs. We are proud of the rich tradition that is Penn Pride. Go Colonials and we look forward to serving your family and your child.
