Exemplary Programs
Castle Hills Elementary, a school where students are encouraged to "Dream big!”, provides enriching academic programs for students in grades K–5. The school reflects the diversity of the community it serves, and the children are guided by dedicated, experienced staff who represent the best of Delaware's schools.

We are a school dedicated to Responsive Classroom and the students focus on the C.A.R.E.S. traits, which include Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy and Self-Control. We believe that these traits, along with students being held to high behavioral and academic expectations by staff members, create a positive learning environment.

Response to Intervention has been implemented as a multi-step approach to provide services and interventions to struggling learners at increasing levels of intensity. In addition to classroom instruction, struggling students work in small groups on specific areas to address their particular area of difficulty.
