At Christiana High School, we pride ourselves in providing a rich environment for teaching and learning. Our staff are experts in developing challenging learning experiences tailored to the needs of high school students. The daily mission is to educate students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex analytical thinkers, quality producers, and community contributors. The Christiana High School Honors/Dual Enrollment Academy is offered with the firm conviction that one of the greatest resources of this region is its academically-talented young people. The academy stresses the development of each student's critical thinking abilities, adaptability, creativity, and self-confidence. In the Academy, teachers and students work with the conceptual, historical, and scientific foundations of learning. Students will have opportunities to develop their personal and intellectual skills.

Curriculum Highlights
Students are encouraged to excel through a variety of program choices. CHS offers five pathways including Business, Agri-Science, JDG, Fine Arts, NJROTC, Pre-Engineering, Computer Science and Energy Management. Students are encouraged to excel through AP classes and accredited testing. CHS offers AP classes in all four base subjects beginning in the 10th grade. The Honors Program offers a challenging environment in which students can explore and problem-solve. Honors Courses are offered in English, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Integrated Math, Pre-Calculus,Calculus, American Government/Geography, US History, French, Spanish and Economics.
Christiana also offers AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determiniation) which is a college readiness system for elementary through postsecondary that is designed to increase schoolwide learning and performance.
