Exemplary Programs
In addition to our academic curriculum Gauger-Cobbs Middle School has implemented Culturally Responsive Positive Behavior Support Program (CRPBS) to assist in maintaining a positive school climate. The program is designed to reward behaviors that exemplify the following school-wide expectations: Be Responsible, Be Motivated, and Be Kind. Students are acknowledged daily with "Cobra cash" ticket rewards at the classroom and school-wide level when they make choices that align with these expectations. Cobra Cash tickets are maintained at the classroom and school-wide level until enough are accumulated to earn a classroom level or school level reward.
We are proud to offer many different programs at our school. A snapshot of some of our offerings is listed here:National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, Cambridge, AVID, Language Arts, Math, PBS, FFA, BPA, TSA, Science Olympiad, 4H, Odyssey of the Mind, and Middle school athletics.

Curriculum Highlights
Gauger-Cobbs Middle School is dedicated to ensuring success for each of our students. Our mission is to foster strong academic achievement as well as fostering social and emotional growth as we challenge the unique strengths of each learner. Students at Gauger-Cobbs engage in evidenced-based strategies to learn, apply, and convey their understanding of academic content. As a result, our curriculum contains opportunities for both intervention and enrichment. Students are identified for intervention or enrichment based on standardized assessment and classroom data. To support students across the entire learning spectrum, Gauger-Cobbs provides access to the following programs:
