Exemplary Programs
F.D. Stubbs Elementary is located in Wilmington's picturesque Eastside Community. As Delaware's first STEM model school, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are integrated across content areas. In addition, Stubbs has dynamic partnerships that include, but are not limited to North Bay STEM Adventure Camp, mentoring coordinated by Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, EastSide Community Schools, who facilitate strong parent engagement through meaningful adult centered workshops. In addition, Stubbs has over seventy-five partnerships with state and local businesses to meet the needs of the students, their families, and the community.

Curriculum Highlights
Our daily instruction is enhanced by the utilization of Learning-Focused Strategies and the use of individualized educational pathways that meet student needs. All students benefit from a full complement of special subject areas that include Technology and an emphasis on the development of 21st Century Skills. The overall focus of F.D. Stubbs is to mirror a year round learning environment by offering a comprehensive after-school and summer program. Programs are enhanced by real-world experiences which allow students to apply learned concepts through observations and hands-on explorations.
