Exemplary Programs
Marbrook offers a variety of programs to engage students and increase success. In addition to daily instruction in the content areas, we offer TAG (Talented and Gifted), Band, Strings, Chorus and a variety of field trips and after school programs. Our after school programming includes LEGO League, Jr. LEGOS, Bricks 4 Kids, OM, Science Ambassadors, Chess, Girls on the Run and Boys on the Run as well as a homework club. Marbrook enjoys a tradition of a strong family/school partnership. We have many family-teacher engagement activities in the evenings throughout the year. In addition, Marbrook has a before and after school care program managed by the Western YMCA.

Curriculum Highlights
Marbrook uses strong inclusive practices while delivering a curriculum that is aligned to the Common Core standards. At the same time, teachers differentiate instruction based on student needs. In addition to the core subject areas, students participate in Unified Arts classes to help develop the well-rounded student. Supplemental services are provided through Title 1 programming and our reading specialists, Special Education teachers, and English Language Development teacher. The RTI (Response to Intervention) program is also an additional reading or math support for struggling students.

Beginniing in the fall of 2016, Marbrook has partnered with the Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids organization to implement a school wide, garden based educational program that supports content standards and promotes student health.
