Exemplary Programs
At Everett Meredith Middle School we believe that Education Means More Success. One of the ways we achieve that is to allow students to take more ownership and leadership throughout our school. Two groups that exemplify student leadership are National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and Student Council. These groups facilitate student based decision making in our school and work closely with administration and teachers to make our building a better place. Business Professionals of America (BPA), FFA and school store managers are also groups that allow for student participation and leadership within the school as well as throughout the state. Students volunteer for programs such Special Olympics and Pre-K assistants to gain a sense of what it means to give back to the community. Our Positive Behavior Support team recognizes the great things that our students do every day. Pep Rallies and PBS events are held throughout the year to celebrate.

Curriculum Highlights
At EMMS, our vision is to facilitate a learning experience that will prepare each student academically, physically and socially to be positive leaders. We have 5 Pillars of Success that supports our vision. These Pillars include Literacy and Problem Solving, Student Support, Value Diversity, 21st Century Learners and Global Community. Working together, these pillars support the success of our students and ultimately the success of our school. Our school is a one-to-one school which means that every student has an iPad to use for educational purposes. The technology allows students to work on 21st skills as they prepare to be college and career ready. Ultimately at our school, we want to engage students as they collaborate, communicate, use their creativity and critical thinking skills to be the positive change leaders we need in our community.
