Curriculum Highlights
Along with all Appoquinimink schools, Silver Lake students participate in learning experiences developed from DE and Common Core State Standards. The combination of content, inquiry and constructive struggle allow students to "grow their brains"! Having a growth mindset about teaching and learning empowers our students and staff! Our students have amazing learning experiences through Related Arts. Along with core content learning developing skills as an artist, learning Spanish, participating in concerts and musicals, navigating technology for learning, understanding healthy life choices, and learning problem solving strategies allow each student many opportunities to find and hone their personal greatness!
